THE SOURCE FOR CATHOLIC YOUTH MINISTRY
The Catholic Youth Foundation
The Catholic Youth Foundation was founded in 1998 by two youth ministers, Tom Fertal and Art Bamert. They were looking to put together a place on the web that would provide helpful links and resources for free. Since then, many changes have come about in Catholic Youth Ministry. Many more resources and organizations are working hard to make effective youth ministry a reality in many more parishes and schools around the country.
The Catholic Youth Foundation has changed and grown as well. Our basic commitment and mission are the same, but we are striving to help bring even more quality Catholic resource to those who minister to youth and to the teens themselves.
The Catholic Youth Foundation now includes "Fan the Fire Ministries". The Fan the Fire Rallies are a one day Eucharistic centered youth event. We have sponsored a Fan the Fire Rally in three cities to date

Mission:
1: Reaching out to young people who do not know Jesus that they may know him as Lord and Saviour, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and life within the Church.
2: Reaching out to committed and lapsed Catholics that they may find a deeper relationship with Jesus, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and a fuller participation in the life of the Church.
Disciple Now
1. Who owns Disciples Now?
DisciplesNow.com is a free service of Disciples Now Ministries, Inc. — a not for profit Catholic organization based in Baltimore, Maryland. Additional information is available in the About Us section.
2. What is the Disciples Now Team?
The Disciples Now Team is a group of adults who volunteer their time to make the Disciples Now web site a reality. Many members of the team are professional youth ministry coordinators, religious education directors, Catholic school teachers, clergy, or diocesan staff. The only paid member of the team is our Managing Editor.
3. Why does it take a couple of hours (or a couple of days) to get a response from the Disciples Now's support team or editors?
Most of Disciples Now's editors, contributors, and technicians are volunteers who conduct site business in their spare time. We do our best to respond to each request as quickly as possible. We apologize for the delays.
